Dando sequência à temporada de premiações, uma semana após o Golden Globe Awards®, acontece a cerimônia do Critics’ Choice Awards®, um dos mais importantes prêmios anuais do cinema e da TV.

Este ano a cerimônia, apresentada pela terceira vez consecutiva pelo ator americano Taye Diggs, acontece em formato virtual com Diggs e alguns dos apresentadores da noite em um palco em Los Angeles e os indicados aparecendo remotamente de vários locais ao redor o mundo.
A lista de indicados é liderada por “Mank”, longa de David Fincher, com 12 menções. “Minari”, drama sobre imigrantes coreanos nos EUA, vem logo atrás com 10 indicações. Já “A Voz Suprema do Blues” e “Notícias do Mundo” possuem 8 nomeações cada um.
Dentre as séries mais indicadas, “Ozark” e “The Crown” lideram a lista com seis categorias cada. “Lovecraft Country” é destaque com cinco indicações e “The Mandalorian” também aparece na lista.
